Where are We?

Toy Library Stay and Play sessions run every Monday (except bank holidays) at the Glebe 9.30 to 11.30am and cost £2 per family to members (one-off membership fee of £5 to join) and include a variety of toys to play with, one week’s hire of any toy, craft activity, kid’s snack, hot drink for adult and dedicated baby room. Parents, Carer's, Childminders and children in local community and surrounding areas are invited to “Come, Play and Take Away”.

Following on from the success of Novembers Bistro Meal/Social night at Crich Tea rooms we have provisionally booked a second date for 22nd April 2009. Below is a copy of the menu and costings. If you are interested please e-mail info@crichtoylibrary.org.uk or let us know at one of our Monday session your preferred menu options and provide a deposit cheque payable to Crich Tea Rooms at your earliest convenience to either Glebe reception or Toy Library session.

Want something fun to do at the weekend? Crich Toy Library is hosting a Grand Family Games and Activities afternoon on Sunday 19^th April, from 2 till 4pm. The fun-filled event will be held at Crich Glebe Field Centre and will offer a host of traditional family activities. The event is timed to coincide with the end of the Easter Holidays and offers opportunity for children of all ages and their extended families to spend quality time together exploring the giant games, crafts and interactive activities. Refreshments will be available and the Crich Toy Library will be offering a Hire-One-Get-One-Free with new memberships taken out on the day. To join the Crich Toy Library costs £5 per family for life membership.

CTL Vouchers

A recent article in Family & Children Go Green states that "The average UK Child is getting £262.00 in toys each Christmas - most destined for landfill along with their excessive packaging with huge plastic windows and polystyrene mounts".

In response to this Derbyshire Toy Library Network (DTLN) has commissioned Toy Library Gift Vouchers to be professionally printed on sustainable card. These can be purchased direct from the Network or from your local Toy Library in multiples of £5.00 or £10.00.

These Vouchers will enable parents, carer's, friends and extended family members to experience the great resources of our Toy Library, whilst saving parents money, reducing landfill and offering a huge range of toys and play opportunities to children.

The Vouchers can only be exchanged for memberships and/or toy loans paid up front which will last for considerably longer than the usual purchase of one toy!!
